Payroll Office

Location

The Payroll Office is located on the first floor of the Administrative Services Building.

Office hours are: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm during the academic year;
                               7:30 am to 4:00 pm during the summer and breaks.

2012 W-2's

2012 W-2s are available via Access Plus. Once you have logged in to Access Plus, click on the Employee tab, the W-2 link in the left column, select Electronic, Submit, then click on the year to view. This is a two-sided, official document you can use for tax purposes. 2010 and 2011 W-2's are also available.

FICA

For 2013, the FICA tax rate for employees is 6.2% on the first $113,700 wages paid. The Medicare tax rate is 1.45% on the first $200,000 and 2.35% above $200,000.

Payroll Sign-up

Payroll sign-up is completed in the Human Resources Records Management Office located in 3810 Beardshear.

2013 Payroll cutoff dates are posted under the Calendar's link.

Minimum Wage

The Iowa minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

AccessPlus

Employee information is located in AccessPlus under the Employee tab. Click on Payroll Info to view your paystubs, Vacation and Sick Leave leave information and year to date earnings. Direct deposit and permanent and campus addresses can be changed in AccessPlus.

W-4 Forms

The federal and state W-4 forms are located under Employee Information.
